fromme-toyou:
Trafalgar Square and all that is London… may you have a weekend full of long walks with meaningful people.
Someday I will walk these streets. I just hope it’s as beautiful then as it is in this photo.

I have yet another class that requires a tumblr account but this one is theme related. If you would like to read what I’m posting for class the new tumblr I’m on is http://findyouradventure.tumblr.com/ . It’s a blog on odd little places in California. I was originally going to do daytrips but that would be a massive blog post. Therefore I just highlight some small places that you can work into a daytrip of your choosing. :) Hope you like!
These past few weeks have been filled with projects, presentations, field assignments and applications. Needless to say any fun activies have been neglected for computer screens and stacks of textbooks all for the good of getting that final grade. This is a to-do list of all the things I want to do over spring break. That may sound silly but when you only have a week off, I think it is important to get your priorities in line.
1. Make some Macroons!
My friend Jocylen from work introduced me to this amazing cookbook “Les Petite Macroons” which describes the different techniques and tricks to making delicious Macroons in your own home. It says it takes between 5-10 tries to get the perfect little french cookie, so I intend to get practicing. Then I won’t have to visit Dolicimos in Chino Hills for my sweet tooth fix.
2. Read Brave New World
It’s been on my to-do list for a while but I really want to read this sad tale. I have been very interested in dystopian fiction and this one I heard is along the same lines as 1984 and portrays what people thought the future would come to at its worst.
3. Re-Read Divergent
If you liked the Hunger Games series, you will love this one. I want to re-read it because the next one Insurgent is coming out in May and I know once school starts back up I won’t have time to go back and familiarize myself with all the details.
4. Visit the Huntington Library
I haven’t been in quite a few years and I would love to go back and take some pictures, sip some tea at their teahouse and walk around the museum. It’s not to far, only in Santa Anita, and I think it would be great with some sunshine and good company.
5. Draw some pictures!
My friend and co-worker Heather Lynn has written a childrens story that wants to publish and she wants me to illustrate the story. While I have done many rough sketches, I really want to take this time to do some detailed pictures in acrylics or watercolor so we can proceed to make this dream a reality!
6. Spend some time with friends
While this is towards the bottom that does not mean in any way that it is the last thing I want to do. I want to have some friends over for tea, walk around the mall and go hiking wtih them as well. I just want to do little things that school kinda gets in the way of normally doing.
So there you have it…perhaps I am writing this down more for me to remember than to actually share. I hope everyone has a wonderful spring break and gets to do what they want most!

I missed a post last weekend!:(
As I said in my last post, I planned to go to San Diego with my girlfriends because she is leaving to Korea for good! We went there on Saturday morning, and had our brunch at “The Cottage”. It was so good! My friends in San Diego told me that this place has the…

An Awesome Automatic Analogue Bookmark
It looks like one of those hyper simplistic, curvy ‘M’ shaped drawings of birds. Adequately, it’s named “Albatros”. But we don’t suppose you’d have ever thought of stuffing something named after one of the largest birds in between the pages of your latest crime novel. What a true horror that’d be! Check out what functional, scaled down invention is turning heads, and pages, after the jump!
<3 Photoshop. It transforms places so others can see them the way you do.
